We can all agree on a desire to get the Republicans out of Washington. The reality is that this will not happen by accident. It will require a commitment and serious action on your part.
Here’s a quote from a 14-year-old kid from Vermont who ran for governor of that state in 2019:

“It’s on us to build our own future. You’ve got to get involved. You’ve got to vote, you’ve got to knock on doors. It’s how we’re going to make the changes we want to see in the state, in this country, in this world. When we get involved, we make our democracy stronger.”
Ethan Sonneborn, age 14, candidate for governor of VT

Get involved. Volunteer. We are the link between the campaign and the voters. They depend on us for data to perfect their voter database for planning strategy. They depend on us to get out the vote. It can be fun and rewarding. The time commitment is only a few hours once a week. And it can make all the difference!

Teddy Roosevelt once said, “Life’s greatest pleasure is working hard on work worth doing.” This is worth doing.

Who we vote for will change the course of Virginia politics for years to come.
