RCDC Schedule of General Elections
RCDC Virtual Caucus 1-8-2022
According to Democratic Party of Virginia Party Plan, city and county Democratic committees are required to renew their membership and elect officers and at-large Executive Committee members at a biennial reorganization.
The RCDC Reorganization is scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10 A.M. We’ll meet via Zoom.
Candidates for the 2022-2024 RCDC Board are:
Chair: Mary-Sherman Willis
Co-Chair: Ross O’Donoghue
Secretary: Ken Edwards
Treasurer: Bruce Sloane
At-Large Executive Committee members: Ron Goodman, Casey Eitner
You must be a member of the committee to vote for the RCDC Executive Board. Please take a minute to renew your membership using one of our TWO convenient methods:
1) online in the membership Google form, or
2) by printing out the membership form PDF and mailing it to Ken Edwards, PO Box 718 / Flint Hill, VA 22627.
We must receive your application by noon on Friday, January 7, 2022, so that we may send you instructions for joining the meeting.

For December, instead of our usual monthly meeting on the 11th, the RCDC is having a brunch!
Note: because Covid numbers are creeping up in the county, we ask that attendees please be vaccinated.
When: Saturday, December 11, 2021, 10 a.m. to noon.
Where: 70 Little Eldon Lane, Woodville VA 22749.
We’ll provide coffee, juice and egg frittata. Guests are encouraged to bring fruit, pastries, pancakes, donuts and whatever other goodies you might like.

The Next RCDC General Meeting
Our next meeting will be Saturday, November 13 at the Rappahannock County Library (4 Library Rd, Washington). Doors open at 9:30 am for coffee and conversation. The meeting starts at 10 am. Masking is encouraged. For those who are not attending in-person meetings, this meeting will also be held via Zoom. Contact Chair Mary-Sherman Willis for the link, or join the Rappahannock County Democrats Facebook page.

Vote at your precinct sometime between 6am and 7pm. Verify your polling place here: Lookup (virginia.gov)
Then come to Headmaster’s Pub (12018 Lee Hwy, Sperryville) at 7:30pm for a watch party!

CALENDAR OF EVENTS UNTIL ELECTION DAY
- Friday 10/22 — Last day to request that an Absentee Ballot be mailed to you. Registrar must receive the request by 5 pm.
- Call Kim McKiernan at (540) 675-5380 or email vote@rappahannockcountyva.gov
- Saturday 11/23 — Rapp Dems Canvass Launch! Meet outside the Library at 10am, pick up a packet and a cup of coffee or hot cider, and hit the doors!
- While you’re at it, VOTE at the Registrar’s Office, 262A Gay St, Washington 8am to 4 pm.
- Saturday 10/30 — Canvass Launch at the Library, 10 am.
- It’s also the last day to VOTE EARLY at the Registrar’s Office 8am-4pm.
- Tuesday 11/2 — ELECTION DAY! Vote at your precinct 6am to 7pm.
- Then come to Headmaster’s Pub in Sperryville at 7:30pm for a watch party!
