RCDC General meeting:
The RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE monthly meeting will be on Saturday, October 12 at the Washington Town Hall, 485 Gay Street, Washington VA. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and conversation. Meeting starts at 10 a.m. Amissville BoS candidate Ron Makella will be there. All are welcome!
On Wednesday September 25, Laura Galante and Michael Webert will be holding their FIRST candidates’ forum at the Marshall Community Center, 4133-A Rectortown Rd, Marshall VA at 7PM. Come support Laura!

From today until Saturday November 2, you can vote absentee in person at the Registrar of Voters’ Office, 238 Gay Street, Washington VA 22747. It’s open Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM.
Do it now, cross it off your list, and be confident your voice is heard.

Here are some important 2019 voting deadlines:
October 15 Deadline to register to VOTE
October 26 Registrar’s office Open on Saturday for in-Person Absentee Voting
October 29 Deadline to request absentee ballot to be mailed to you
November 2 Last day for In-Person Absentee Voting. Registrar’s Office is open.
November 5 General Election (Remember to bring a photo ID)

If you live or work in a high-profile location, please consider displaying a yard sign. Signs are 24 x 18 inches and are to be placed on property you own or have permission to use.
For sign delivery, email your name and address to Cathy Zimmerman. You’ll receive your sign within a few days.
